Market participants are hereby advised that the South African Reserve Bank (SARB) will be closed for trade, trade reporting and settlement on the following official public holidays: Wednesday, 16 December 2015;Friday, 25 December 2015; andFriday, 1 January 2016.The Bank’s open-market and foreign-exchange transactions have been scheduled to mature and settle on official business days during December 2015 and January 2016. No settlement will take place on the days mentioned above via the South African Multiple Options Settlement (SAMOS) system.The Bank’s gold and foreign-exchange desks will close at 12:00 on 24 and 31 December 2015.
