The South African Reserve Bank (SARB) hereby announces the resignation of Mr Nkosana Mashiya from his position as Deputy Registrar of Banks. He will leave the service of the SARB on 31 July 2015 from which date he will serve a three month cooling off period. Mr Mashiya has played a valuable role in driving the implementation of the Twin Peaks regulatory reform process and has made an important contribution to the stability of the financial sector.
