​The President of the Republic of South Africa, Mr Jacob Gedleyihlekisa Zuma, has advised the Governor of the South African Reserve Bank (SARB), Lesetja Kganyago of his decision to appoint Mr Kuben Naidoo as Deputy Governor of the SARB, for a period of five years. The appointment is effective from 1 April 2015.Mr Naidoo is currently an advisor to the Governor of the SARB and a member of the Monetary Policy Committee. He also served as the acting head of the secretariat for the National Planning Commission in the fourth administration.
