​The South African Reserve Bank (SARB) has appointed Ernst & Young as temporary inspectors to conduct an investigation into the business activities of Carmol Distributors.The SARB has become aware of correspondence from a company known as Afro RMM Consultancy, promising to speed up the repayment of funds invested with Carmol and calling for all future correspondence regarding any investments to be forwarded to the offices of Afro RMM.The SARB wishes to reiterate that all requests for information on behalf of the SARB will be solicited only by Ernst & Young as the appointed temporary inspectors.Carmol investors should continue directing all communication relating to Carmol to Ernst & Young using the following dedicated telephone line: 011 772 4100, or Fax 011 772 4999 or emailcarmol.investigation@za.ey.comSee attachment below for more information.
