Press Release - Appointment of the Head of the Exchange Control Department. The South African Reserve Bank is pleased to announce the appointment of Mr Elijah Mazibuko as the Head of the Exchange Control Department, effective 1 August 2009.Mr Mazibuko joined the South African Reserve Bank on 1 January 2000 and has been with the Exchange Control Department since 1 December 2001, where he served in various capacities. Before his current promotion, Mr Mazibuko served as Deputy General Manager in the Exchange Control Department.
