The Governor of the South African Reserve Bank, Mr T T Mboweni, has noted media reports concerning the use of languages in the Reserve Bank. The policy of the South African Reserve Bank is to adhere to its Constitutional obligation, which requires the recognition of all eleven (11) official languages.
