The Policy Board for Financial Services and Regulation appointed a task group to inquire into the regulation and supervision of financial conglomerates. Although the recommendations of the task group were accepted in principle by the Policy Board, the Board nevertheless wishes to distribute the task group=s report more widely for comment by interested parties.
