Auditors Reports and Representation Letters 

Institutional Investor Auditor's Report in terms of section B.2(H) of the Currency and Exchanges Manual for Authorised Dealers

Institutional investors holding portfolio assets, directly or indirectly, are required, as part of their financial year-end audit, to obtain an audit report from their external auditors assessing the quarterly asset allocation reports.

Institutional Investor Auditor's Report for:

Retirement funds; long-term insurers; investment managers and collective investment scheme management companies

 

Macro-Prudential Limit Auditor's Report in terms of Section B.2(I)(xiii) of the Currency and Exchanges Manual for Authorised Dealers

Authorised Dealers qualifying for the Macro-Prudential Foreign Exposure Limit, are required, as part of their financial year end audit, to obtain an audit report from their external auditors assessing the last submitted Macro-Prudential Foreign Exposure Limit Return at year end. The audit report must be submitted within a maximum period of six months after the financial year end.
