The SARB College, in collaboration with other central banks, local and foreign universities, and various international organisations, organises a number of conferences and seminars each year. The following have been planned for 2012/13:
High-level specialised learning intervetions for 2012/13
The high-level specialised learning programmes for the South African Reserve Bank are based on the unique needs of the line departments. The intention is to supplement some of the generic courses, which are of an introductory nature, with more advanced and/or specialised (in-depth) learning programmes in economics, banking, central banking, econometric modelling, financial markets and related fields at an internationally competitive level. These programmes are aimed at professional staff involved in the core business of central banking. Owing to the specialised nature of these programmes, course participants are nominated by the various heads of department.
