The purpose of the Internal Audit Department is to provide independent objective assurance and consulting services regarding the adequacy and effectiveness of the control, risk management and governance processes of the South African Reserve Bank Group. The South African Reserve Bank Group includes the Bank, its subsidiaries and its pension and retirement funds.
