Human Resources 

The primary purpose of the Human Resources Department (HRD) is to enable the Bank to achieve its objectives through people.  It does this by aligning the HRD agenda to support the Bank’s strategy, and by providing an integrated human resource service through the following functions:
  • Compensation and benefit matters including job evaluation processes;
  • An integrated learning and development service which includes leadership and management programmes;
  • Recruitment, selection, placement and on boarding services;
  • Employee relations support, facilitation and continuous education;
  • An integrated employee wellness service which includes clinical assessments, psychological assessments, counselling services, physiotherapy, physical well being support and biokineticist services;
  • Organisational development services which include job profiling, analysis, organisational design, talent management strategies and facilitation of relevant work place solutions in support of business;
  • HR Business Partnering services through direct placement of HR consultants in business units and branches;
  • Change management support and facilitation of the Bank’s transformation agenda ;
  • A comprehensive HR Management information system which includes a self help system; and
  • HR administrative support in respect of all employee related matters.
